About Brad Berfield

Over the course of his career, Brad Berfield has developed and utilized his expertise in supply chain and logistics to optimize operational efficiency for major companies. He recently served as the Vice President of Distribution and Logistics for Coldwater Creek, a specialty retailer of women's clothing and accessories. Effective in redesigning the company’s divisional structure to reduce payroll costs and increase its distribution productivity, Brad Berfield also implemented a new leadership program geared toward improving professional development and succession planning.

Brad Berfield joined the Coldwater Creek team following six years as the director of distribution for Wegmans Food Markets. Responsible for all distribution operations for the premium grocery retail chain, he restructured the company’s distribution organization to improve work process efficiency and overall performance. In addition, he oversaw all capital projects, including the introduction of new warehouse management systems and the replacement of mechanized systems.

Prior to his tenure at Wegmans, Brad Berfield served as the general manager of a 1.3-million-square-foot distribution center for Walmart Stores, Inc. He earlier worked for the chain as the Assistant General Manager of its distribution center in Marcy, New York, where he led a multimillion-dollar improvement project geared toward increasing operational efficiency and increasing throughput.

Brad Berfield holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University as well as a Master of Business Administration from Binghamton University.
